Hello and welcome to my digital hideout! I’m Egle, a motorcycle hobo by choice and a writer by calling, and I’m here to tell you that the world is big, the people are good, and that you, too, can have an adventure of your own design - and on your own terms.

I’ve lived on the road since 2013; a self-confessed nerd perpetually fascinated by the ways of the world and obsessed with obscure places and long-form storytelling, I’m hellbent on traveling the world until the road runs out – and sharing the adventure with those who dream of mountains and faraway places.

About Kathleen

Since getting her motorcycle endorsement in June of 2018 at age 52, Kathleen has traveled over 150,000 miles through forty-nine states in the U.S., eleven Canadian territories and provinces, thirty-seven European countries, Africa, and Asia.

Kathleen’s first solo summer cross-country journey inspired her memoir Two-Wheeled Wind Therapy, describing how she found confidence, joy, and hope after surviving throat cancer, a second divorce, and teaching through the pandemic.

Alright for real now. My name is Runa, I was born in 1994 i the city Narvik in Norway, 339km above the arctic circle. My siblings and I was raised with a great respect for the outdoors - going on hikes and small outdoor adventures regularly. Pretty much all summer holidays were spent hiking and camping in Norway and Sweden.

Since 2001 we have been travelling on our bikes through Europe and from 2022 onwards we will be travelling not only with our bikes, but our campervan as well. Hopefully for the next 20 years... at least. We want to utilize our experience so that all bikers can enjoy travelling through Europe with Quazy Rides!

We are Miriam and Tobi, two motorcycle riders from Germany, and we have started a motorcycle world trip in april 2018. After exactly 2 years, we had two pause our trip because of the Corona Crisis in 2020 and we decided to create this new website to share our past and future travelling experiences.

Before this trip we had been working in an outdoor store in our hometown for more than 10 years. In our free time, we always used to travel a lot and spent as much time as possible outdoors in the nature. So we already had lots of knowledge with outdoor equipment before, but now we are doing real hardcore testing. Therefore we also like to share our gear experiences with you. Our reviews are always completely honest and we are not writing about gear we have never tested by ourselves.

Beside that, we are going to write about our best rides, nicest places and coolest stories that have happened to us while being on tour.
